Alt-Ostland DDR German Shepherds

Dedicated to the preservation of rare pure East/DDR German Shepherds, with special attention to lines with ancestors that have competed at the higher level competitions (BSP, LGA, DDR-MS).  We have naturally protective, conformationally correct dogs with stable balanced drives, beautiful movement, good health and hips, strong bone, heads and pigment.

   

We do not rely on the sale of dogs as a source of income.  We will only have an occasional litter when looking for a new working prospect for ourselves, therefore we only breed dogs we'd be proud to retain a puppy from and will occasionally have working candidates (for service, Police, SAR, home protection/security and possibly herding/stock dogs).
