 Prairieside German Shepherds Home also of Prairielands Kennel, is located on an acreage just outside of Portage la Prairie, MB. We offer a boarding facility, traing classes for obedience and conformation, grooming services as well we are breeders of Top Quality German Shepherds from some of the current Top Show Lines and Top Working Lines of today.

  Prairieside German Shepherds - Prairielands Kennel is owned and operated by myself Kristin Johnston. I was born and raised in Portage la Prairie and although I never started my boarding facility or breeding/showing Shepherds until 2003, I have always loved all kinds of animals. As a kid growing up on a farm we always had cats and dogs; I even had a pet racoon and numerous rabbits my dad would bring home from the fields. Every stray dog always seemed to find there way to our house where of course they had to stay! I have always had a true passion for German Shepherds so in 2003 I finally purchased my very own (Can.Ch Legendary Emma vom Canisphere).

  Here at Prairieside I strive to breed sound minds and temperaments as well as correct structure. All of our dogs used in our breeding program have certified hips/elbows, as well we keep all of our dogs and puppies up to date on all the required vaccinations. It is very important that they all recieve the utmost care so they are in the best health and condition possible.
 We breed Top Quality German Shepherds for Personal/Family Companions as well as Show/Breeding Prospects. We are a smaller kennel so we normally have 2 to 3 litters per year. All of our puppies are family raised with myself and two children. They all recieve lots of socialization and individual interaction.

Prairieside puppies all come with a lifetime health guarantee including (hips & elbows). The fee for your puppy includes their 1 set of required vaccinations, deworming program, health check by certified veterinarian, CKC registration papers and micro-chipping.
