All dogs are spayed or neutered and have received age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention, a microchip, and flea and tick treatment.

The adoption fee funds all aspects of the rescue such as the cost of routine and preventative health care, transportation to bring dogs to foster homes and to veterinary appointments, training for dogs that need behavioral help to get them ready for adoption, the purchase of food for dogs in foster care, boarding fees for dogs that can’t stay in foster homes, and medical costs for dogs that need life-saving treatments and surgeries.

Only approved adopters may schedule meet and greets with our dogs. Even if you are unsure which dog you would like to adopt, we recommend filling out an application and getting approved first so you are ready when the right dog comes along.

To ensure your new family member is a good fit, dogs may be returned within 14 days of adoption for any reason. The adoption cost is refunded minus a processing fee of not more than $15.

Please allow up to 5 business days for processing. We are an all-volunteer group with no paid staff. Many of our volunteers work full-time jobs and help the rescue in their spare time.
