PHENOM SHEPHERDSstyle="width: 400px; height: 447px;" /> Here at Phenom Shepherds We offer quality puppies of beautiful colors from healthy titled dogs with outstanding temperment. There are people that for some unexplained reason feel the need to try to dupe the public by offering puppies that are not of the standard set for the Panda Shepherd, this only results in inferior and homelesss animals. All of our Pandas are DNA certified for authenticity > These certicates issued by the Breed Founder provide authenticity that the dog listed below has had DNA submitted to the VGL Canine Genetics Laboratory at the UC Davis Center for Veterinary Genetics for the purposes of DNA Analysis. Based on DNA results, the dog listed below is a direct descendant of the original Panda GSD and meet the requirements of the Panda Standard Accordingly, these dogs are enrolled in the UC Davis Panda Genetics Project, which is aimed at defining the specific DNA changes leading to the Panda Type. This white-spotting pattern, which spontaneously appeared in a single dog (Franka), is phenotypically and genotypically distinct from the conventional S locus in dogs. The conventional S locus defines irish spotting, piebald, and extreme white, but it does not define the Panda Type. Several German Shepherd Dogs with white markings have submitted DNA to our laboratory, and these dogs do not appear to have the Panda Gene.
