As very responsible breeders for more than 30 years, the health of our dogs and the satisfaction of our clients is a very important concern for us. Our dogs are thoroughly screened for hereditary health problems prior to breeding, including OFA hips and elbows (many generations back). They are regularly vaccinated and examined by our veterinarian. Puppies are vet-checked, vaccinated and de-wormed before they are placed with their new owners, and we offer a comprehensive replacement health guarantee with each puppy that we place, as detailed at the time of sale. In keeping with the policy of our kennel which adheres to all standards for responsible breeding, we recommend that our pet-quality puppies be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. This helps us to do our part against irresponsible breeding practices, and to help reduce the growing number of unwanted dogs in shelters throughout the country.
