Black Gold Shepherds

We are located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada on a 60 acre farm just outside the Village of Oil Springs, (The home of the first commercial oil well in North America).

We are a growing kennel where our dogs are family raised.  We have owned german shepherds since 1985.  We started to seriously train and compete in Obedience trials in 2002 and at that time also started to raise puppies.

Our kennel currently consists of “World Class” West German bloodlines.

In 2005 we met and became very good friends with Bob and Olive Penalagan from London Ontario ( Pen-Din German Shepherds) . Bob owns CH Marinta's Bobby the sire of our foundation bitch "Anna" Reinguards Anastasia V D Krone. Bob and Olive have become our dear friends and mentors to the German Shepherd breed and have introduced us to the “West German” german shepherds.

We are committed to breeding excellent quality german shepherd dogs focusing on temperament, intelligence, working ability and conformation.

All breeding stock are certified OVC or OFA and from titled parents.

We are members in good standing of Canadian Kennel Club, German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada and Longwoods Working Dog ClubInternational Shipping Available.
